Price and Full Specifications Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 - This Word 8 is the perfect size tablet for me. I attempted out the Kindle Fireplace 8.9, but because of the thick border across the screen it makes the system just a little bit too massive to fit comfortably in my hand. I felt prefer it was piveting in my hand. The Observe eight fits properly in my handbag and it fits comfortably in a single hand. A 7 inch tablet is a bit too small, however this 8 inch is perfect. I am really glad I bought it and it was price the additional cash.
Bought this tablet yesterday to interchange my Nexus 7. I've at all times used a stylus with my N7, as I've found it a great way to interface with a tablet (and in addition keep the fingerprints down). From the second the Galaxy Word 8.0 was announced, I knew I would be buying it. To this point, I am completely thrilled with my decision.
Professionals :
- The display may be very clear and simple to read
- The tablet could be very snappy, even after loading all my apps, I am nonetheless experiencing no lag
- The weight is perfect - it is mild sufficient to carry in a single hand whereas writing with the S-pen
- Samsung has added a lot of person-pleasant features to Android
- The S-pen is a stand-out function should you like to write and take notes in your gadget
- Should you're used to a device with on-display buttons (Nexus 7 for instance), it takes loads of getting used to having physical buttons (and for some purpose Samsung put the again button on the proper facet)
- Many have complained concerning the "low-cost" build feel of Samsung devices. While this system is plastic, it feels solid within the hand, and the plastic makes it light and very simple to hold in one hand. Since most are going to place it in a case anyway, the again being plastic actually would not matter. -
- The change between stock Android and TouchWiz is drastic. If you've received a previous TouchWiz machine, you may really feel right at house on this one, but should you're coming from Inventory Android, be prepared for some adjustment.
- Solely minor con is the price, but the S-pen and the hardware/software enhancements required to make it work properly justify the extra value over a Nexus 7 or the other cheap Android tablets out there.
